Keynote Music
We seek to commission, develop and produce new music and to take positive action to encourage female and ethnic minority composers and to promote greater diversity in our creative teams and casts in all respects: age, disability, race, religion, gender and sexual orientation. We have produced two new operas, and produced/funded concerts with five premieres by female composers in 2022/23.
Keynote Silver
We specialise in lobbying and promoting opportunities for elderly creatives, both professionally and in our community.
Keynote Kids
We seek to commission, develop and produce new music for and with kids and young people, involving our local communities. We are building links with several East London Schools tied in with our projects. We have collaborated with Soundbox an inclusive music group in Tower Hamlets for disabled and non-disabled young people.
Our community
Where possible we’d like to explore accessible, affordable (sometimes free) performances of our work. Our main base is East London.
